Are East Asian Guys Getting Taller?

Hi all. I was born in China and I am now 5′10″, a whole inch taller than my dad who is 5′9″. I took a trip back to the Beijing area and I was shocked to see that I seemed short compared to the local guys there, who seem to average 5′11″ to 6′. Are East Asian guys getting taller?

Yes i think so…i shortest boy in my niece’s class is 5′10 and they’re 15 or 16.(Japan)

I believe so because our diet has changed, theres more food nowadays. My dad is 5′5″ and I’m 5′8″, so I have surpassed his height. He was born in Southeast Asia but I was born and raised in the U.S. so I get the maximum amounts of food to grow.
We are getting taller due to change in environment. But there are still a lot of short people, not their fault though nor anything wrong with it.

well that’s good! I’m quite tall and i’m glad chinese men are getting taller (or at least it seems so), lol now we can finally battle. I love east-asian boys

Well they are consuming more milk in America. As you know it contains growth hormone. That’s why American women have bigger breasts, people are taller and kids are getting cancer.
