Does This Chinese Girl Like Me?

I have been studying here in Korea for about 4 months now (i am an american) and recently the summer semester started and the new students came in. long story short, we all took a trip to jeju island here. On the plane trip back, one of the foreign exchange students, a girl from China, happened to be sitting next to me. Needless to say, we talked the whole trip back, even on the bus back to our dorm.
Anyway, i gave her my msn adress and she didnt have msn so she downloaded it just to add me. When we talk to msn she always says that I should come to china so we can teach together, etc. (since we are both studying to be language teachers) she is 24 and im 20 (both our b-days are in the next couple of weeks too). She is always complimenting me.
should i ask her out? the summer semester is only 6 weeks long and i’ve only known her for a few days.
we both go back home after the semester is over and i have to study for another school year in order to get my bachelors to teach, etc.

uhg, I get so sick up someone always mentioning “VISA” when they mention a chinese woman.
his question sed nothing about the girl even seemingly wanting to come to the US. in fact he said she asked him to come teach in CHINA with her.
and Yes I think she likes you and you should ask her to date but she may be interested in only long term relationship, Is that what you want?

Hang out with her!!! I suggest see her motives… She might just after a visa going to US that’s why she’s hitting on you. Observe her behavior, and see if you can identify if she really likes you or not.

Take my advice - East Asian girls are like that. They will compliment you and make you real comfortable. You can find that with a lot of girl there. And they consider ‘the white man’ to be more superior than let’s say ‘the black or the brown man’. As such they would love to get married and have kids with the ‘the white man’ and their family would love them and support them. But if they were to get involved with ‘the dark man’, or anyone other than the Chinese or ‘the white man’, then they could receive resistance from their family.
It is a harsh reality I know. But I have experienced it myself and have been around to know that it is really the truth and there is nothing wrong about it. It is just a difference of culture.
I say, you stick around for a while, meet other Asian girls, see how they treat you and do what your heart tells. Just listen to your heart but don’t make a decision just based on someone’s compliment.
